CIM’s qualifications come in three levels – Certificate, Diploma, and the Post-graduate Diploma. Each level has four modules, and each module has its own assessment. At each level the different modules aim to reflect the key knowledge and skills you will need to fulfil your marketing role professionally and effectively.

Deciding your entry level

The level you start at depends on the qualifications and experience which you already have.

If you are in a junior marketing job or want to move into marketing, then you might start at the Professional Certificate.

If you’ve been working in marketing at a senior operational or junior management level for some time, or if you’re a graduate, then you might start at the Professional Diploma.

If you’ve been working in marketing at a senior management level for some time, or if you have a marketing degree, then you might start at the Professional Post-graduate Diploma.

We have to authorise your intended entry level if CIM have not already done so. We will need to see evidence of your previous qualifications or, if you are applying on the basis of work experience, a CV. Please contact us for full details.

Standard of English

If your main language is not English, you should have a minimum standard in the use of English equivalent to the British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band 6 to get the most out of your study. Visit http://www.ielts.org for more information.
